Sophia and Dylan have travelled through much of Asia and North America, frequently house-sitting or pet-sitting along the way.
Sophia has been caring for animals and pet-sitting since she became an SPCA volunteer in her teens, inspired by her family’s love of fostering animals (at one time they had 12 guinea pigs and 4 cats) and finding them homes. She’s very experienced with administering medication, helping animals with gradual rehabilitation after surgery, and communicating with vets.
Similarly, Dylan grew up with a deep love of animals – as a kid, his family took in a stray litter of kittens, and he raised them, two of which lived with his family into their very senior years.
Together, Sophia and Dylan have had 15+ long-term pet/house-sitting stays, all for cats and/or dogs. Sophie is also familiar with caring for smaller animals like guinea pigs and rabbits.
